EA has a great relationship with MS, so this isnt that big of a deal to them. The money they have invested for GTA's DLC will still be worthwhile, and they will still get what they paid for. They dont have any need to purchase or "buy-up" EA. Sony could definetly use the boost, but EA is worth 15 billon. Sony is only worth 46 billion. Routing ONE THIRD of your companies assets to buy EA, is just not a wise investment. If only they could get some sort of discount.

i think MS is more concerned with DigiDownloads than Blu-ray Movies. Being that the 360 can get HD movies from NetFlix, or just stream your media(HD included) from your PC(thru ethernet or wirelessly)--I seriously doubt MS is worried. Blu-Ray is great for those who dont have any other HD options, I suppose. It was just like when MP3s hit the scene, people thought "Man this is cool but the world is not ready"...
They have 500pounds set aside for a problem, doesnt mean they are a bad company. Based on the RRoD events here stateside, they just prepared for the worst and hoped for the best. And I know for a fact they havent spent that much on the elite's repairs. Enough already. Lol. MS has more money than Jesus himself, so I doubt its effecting them.
